Up for sale is a decorative vintage ceramic apothecary display jar featuring Darvocet Compound 65 branding.
Maker & Origin: Handcrafted by Lofisa (hand made in Mexico, with distribution connection noted for Evanston, IL).
Design Features: Classic white ceramic apothecary jar with matching lidded top, gold-tone trim accents, and a detailed vintage pharmaceutical label detailing the compound breakdown (65 mg. propoxyphene hydrochloride, 227 mg. aspirin, 162 mg. phenacetin, and 32.4 mg. caffeine).
Condition: Pre-owned vintage display condition. Note: There is a hairline crack/blemish on the shoulder of the lid (please inspect close-up photos), along with minor shelf wear and base markings, but the piece presents wonderfully on a shelf.
There is a slight reddish coloring to bottom which may come out with further polishing. Offered as found. Please see pics.
